받는 방식도 정해져 있습니다. 상위 평가자에 들면 협정 세계시(UTC) 자정 무렵 디스코드에서 미드저니 봇이 다이렉트 메시지를 보냅니다.4

설문은 비정기입니다. 미드저니는 때때로 설문을 진행하고 그 보상으로 Fast 시간을 지급한다고 안내합니다.5

여기에 조건이 둘 붙습니다. 받은 시간을 쓰려면 구독이 살아 있어야 하고, 지급된 시간은 30일이 지나면 사라집니다.6

요금은 네 등급입니다. 월 결제 기준으로 10달러·30달러·60달러·120달러입니다.8

등급을 실제로 가르는 것은 가격보다 Fast 시간입니다. 월 3.3시간(200분)·15시간·30시간·60시간으로 벌어집니다.9

Relax 모드의 이미지 무제한 생성은 Standard 이상에서 열립니다.10

연간 결제를 택하면 20% 할인이 붙습니다. 대신 1년 치를 미리 한 번에 결제하는 조건입니다.11

요금과 기능은 고정된 값이 아닙니다. 공식 비교표에도 플랜 구성과 기능이 변경될 수 있다는 단서가 붙어 있으므로,12 결제 직전에 요금 페이지를 한 번 더 확인하는 편이 안전합니다.

구독으로 사는 것은 장수가 아니라 GPU 시간

미드저니의 요금 단위는 이미지 장수가 아닙니다. 구독하면 GPU를 쓸 시간을 사는 것이고, 공식 문서는 이를 휴대폰 요금제의 데이터에 빗댑니다.13

계산되는 시점도 정해져 있습니다. GPU 시간은 미드저니가 실제로 이미지나 영상을 만드는 동안에만 소모됩니다.14

사이트에 머문 시간이나 결과를 기다린 체감 시간과는 다릅니다. 화면을 켜 두기만 해서는 줄지 않습니다.

한 번 만들 때 드는 시간은 대략 정해져 있습니다. 이미지 프롬프트 하나가 약 1분, 영상 프롬프트 하나가 약 8분입니다.15

작업 종류에 따라 더 갈립니다. 공식 표는 SD 프롬프트 0.8분·HD 프롬프트 1.3분으로 적고 있습니다.16

영상은 사정이 다른데요. SD 영상 4개 묶음이 8분, HD 영상 4개 묶음이 26분입니다.17

이 값을 요금제에 대입하면 감이 잡힙니다. Basic의 월 200분을 SD 프롬프트 0.8분으로 나누면 Fast 모드로 약 250장을 만들 수 있다는 계산이 나옵니다.

같은 200분이라도 영상으로 쓰면 훨씬 빨리 사라집니다. HD 영상 4개 묶음 하나가 26분이므로 일곱 번 남짓이면 한 달 치가 끝납니다.

Fast·Relax·Turbo 세 가지 속도

속도는 셋 중에 고릅니다. 무엇을 고르느냐에 따라 Fast 시간이 줄어드는 속도가 달라집니다.

기본은 Fast 모드입니다. 구독에 포함된 Fast 시간을 쓰고, 갱신될 때마다 시간이 초기화되며, 쓰지 않은 시간은 다음 달로 넘어가지 않습니다.18

소멸 규칙은 연간 결제에도 똑같이 적용됩니다. 월 결제든 연 결제든 남은 Fast 시간은 매달 말에 사라집니다.19

Relax 모드는 플랜을 탑니다. 이미지 Relax는 Standard·Pro·Mega에서만 열리고,20 SD 영상 Relax는 Pro와 Mega로 더 좁습니다.21

열리기만 하면 한도가 없습니다. Relax 시간은 무제한이라 Fast 시간을 쓰지 않고 원하는 만큼 이미지를 만들 수 있습니다.22

대신 기다려야 하는데요. 대기 시간은 0분에서 30분까지 벌어질 수 있습니다.23

빠지는 기능도 있습니다. 순열 프롬프트·repeat 파라미터·HD 해상도 영상·Max Upscale은 Relax 모드에서 쓸 수 없습니다.24

Turbo는 반대쪽입니다. 전용 고속 GPU 풀을 써서 Fast 모드보다 최대 4배 빠르지만,25 이미지 한 장에 Fast 시간을 두 배로 씁니다.26

실험적 기능이라는 단서도 붙어 있습니다. 제공 여부와 비용이 언제든 바뀔 수 있다고 명시돼 있습니다.27

남은 시간은 두 곳에서 확인합니다. 구독 관리 페이지의 사용 내역을 보거나, 디스코드에서 info 명령으로 남은 Fast 시간을 조회하면 됩니다.28

설정은 한쪽만 바꿔도 됩니다. 웹과 디스코드 설정이 동기화되어 한 곳에서 바꾸면 생성 속도를 포함해 다른 쪽도 함께 바뀝니다.29

특정 프롬프트만 다르게 돌리고 싶다면 파라미터를 씁니다. 프롬프트 끝에 fast·relax·turbo 파라미터를 붙이면 기본 속도를 덮어씁니다.30

구독부터 첫 이미지까지 순서

시작점은 구독 관리 페이지입니다. 계정을 만들거나 로그인한 뒤 midjourney.com의 구독 관리 페이지로 이동합니다.31

한 번 걸리기 쉬운 지점이 결제 주기인데요. 연간 결제가 기본으로 선택돼 있어 그대로 두면 1년 치가 한 번에 청구되고, 월 결제를 원하면 플랜을 고르기 전에 월 결제 탭을 눌러야 합니다.32

결제는 외부 결제사를 거칩니다. 처리는 Stripe로 진행됩니다.33

결제가 끝나면 메일이 옵니다. 확인 메일에 인보이스와 영수증이 함께 들어 있습니다.34

디스코드로 쓰려면 서버부터 들어갑니다. 서버 목록에서 서버 참가를 고르고 미드저니 공식 초대 주소를 붙여 넣은 뒤 Join을 누릅니다.35

채널도 아무 데나 되지 않습니다. general 또는 newbie-1부터 newbie-10까지의 채널을 골라야 하고, 다른 채널에서는 봇이 이미지를 만들지 않습니다.36

번호가 큰 뉴비 채널은 쓸 수 없습니다. newbie 11번 이상은 보관 처리돼 더 이상 사용되지 않습니다.37

첫 명령은 imagine입니다. 짧은 텍스트 설명, 즉 프롬프트에서 이미지를 만들어 내는 명령입니다.38

처음 한 번은 약관 동의가 뜹니다. 이미지를 만들기 전에 봇이 이용약관 동의를 요구하고, 동의해야 생성으로 넘어갑니다.39

결과는 넉 장이 한 묶음으로 나옵니다. 프롬프트를 보내면 봇이 1분 안에 네 가지 이미지를 만들어 줍니다.40

마음에 드는 것이 있으면 V 버튼을 누릅니다. V 버튼은 고른 이미지의 변형을 만들어 줍니다.41

프롬프트 기본 — 짧고 구체적으로

프롬프트는 어렵게 시작하지 않아도 됩니다. 어떤 이미지나 영상을 원하는지 미드저니에게 알려 주는 텍스트나 문구가 프롬프트입니다.42

길게 쓸수록 좋아지지도 않는데요. 공식 안내는 짧고 단순한 프롬프트가 대체로 가장 좋은 결과를 내며, 긴 목록이나 세세한 지시는 오히려 혼란을 준다고 적습니다.43

수를 뭉뚱그리면 흐려집니다. 고양이를 뜻하는 복수형처럼 개수를 밝히지 않은 단어는 모호해질 수 있습니다.44

빼고 싶은 것을 적는 방식도 권하지 않습니다. 원하지 않는 것 대신 원하는 것을 묘사해야 하며, 케이크를 빼 달라고 적어도 케이크가 나올 수 있습니다.45

담을 요소는 정해져 있습니다. 공식 문서는 주제와 형식,46 환경,47 조명·색·분위기·구도를 예시로 듭니다.48

디테일을 줄이면 다양성이 늘어납니다. 대신 결과를 통제하기는 어려워집니다.49

결과물의 소유권과 AI 표시 의무

소유권 쪽은 넓게 열려 있습니다. 미드저니는 이용자가 만든 이미지와 영상을 모두 소유하며 구독을 해지해도 그대로라고 안내합니다.50

예외가 둘 있습니다. 다른 사용자가 만든 이미지를 업스케일한 경우 그 이미지는 원 제작자의 것이므로 쓰려면 허락이 필요합니다.51

두 번째는 매출 기준입니다. 연 총매출 100만 달러가 넘는 회사에 속해 있다면 상업적으로 쓰기 위해 Pro나 Mega 플랜이 필요합니다.52

저작권 판단까지 대신해 주지는 않습니다. 미드저니는 나라마다 저작권법이 다르므로 구체적인 문제는 변호사나 법률 전문가와 상의하라고 안내합니다.53

국내에서는 표시 의무가 따로 걸립니다. 인공지능 기본법은 생성형 인공지능 결과물에 그 사실을 표시하도록 정하고 있습니다.54

사전 고지 의무도 함께 있습니다. 생성형 인공지능을 이용한 제품이나 서비스를 제공하려는 경우 그 사실을 이용자에게 미리 알려야 합니다.55

두 조문 모두 의무를 지운 대상은 인공지능사업자입니다. 이 법은 2026년 7월 21일부터 시행되고 있습니다.56

해지와 남은 Fast 시간

해지는 언제든 됩니다. 구독 관리 페이지에서 플랜 취소 버튼을 누르면 됩니다.57

효력이 바로 끊기지는 않는데요. 해지는 현재 결제 주기가 끝날 때 적용되고, 그때까지는 남은 Fast 시간을 포함해 구독 기능을 그대로 쓸 수 있습니다.58

만든 결과물은 남습니다. 해지해도 생성한 이미지나 계정 기록이 삭제되지 않고, 비공개로 둔 이미지도 비공개로 유지됩니다.59

다만 Fast 시간은 이월되지 않습니다. 해지를 결정했다면 주기가 끝나기 전에 남은 시간을 쓰는 편이 낫습니다.
